ISLAMABAD: A new miscellaneous review petition has been filed against the Supreme Court’s decision to transfer PTI founder Imran Khan to hospital, sources said.

According to sources, the review petition was filed by the Chief Commissioner, Islamabad. The petition was submitted to the Registrar’s Office after addressing earlier objections. In the plea, it has been argued that there are flaws in the court’s decision regarding the hospital transfer. The petition states that jail rules were ignored in the judgment. The petitioners further stated that they were not made a party in the main case. The plea requests the court to accept the miscellaneous application and grant permission for review.

It also seeks a review of the August 18 verdict. The Supreme Court had earlier ordered that Imran Khan be taken to hospital for a medical checkup under proper security arrangements during the night between August 20 and 21.
