ISLAMABAD: A four-day polio vaccination drive will start in the capital on Monday (today), with the objective of protecting many kids against the disease.
During this four-day polio vaccination program which will last from May 18 to May 21, around 447,614 children will be provided with polio drops through health workers.
According to the Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, Irfan Memon, “Our teams will visit different areas of Islamabad and provide vaccines to children in houses as well as special polio camps have been arranged in hospitals and schools.”
“I appeal to all our citizens to cooperate wholeheartedly with the polio workers for the complete eradication of polio from our country,” he said.
