A significant and historic milestone has been achieved in the administrative history of Pakistan, as officers from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are now serving as Chief Secretaries in four important provincial and regional units of the country.

This remarkable situation demonstrates the importance of competence and merit within the country’s administrative structure, showing that professionalism transcends provincial boundaries.

Currently, Shahab Ali Shah is serving as the Chief Secretary of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while Shakeel Qadir Khan holds the position of Chief Secretary in Balochistan. Additionally, Arshad Mohmand is managing administrative affairs in Gilgit-Baltistan, and Khushal Khan oversees administrative affairs in Azad Kashmir.
