TURBAT: Two workers from Sindh were killed in a firing incident allegedly carried out by militants of Fitna al-Hindustan in the Kalatak area of Kech district’s Turbat city, according to sources.
The incident took place near the Rural Health Centre (RHC) in Kalatak, where the workers were reportedly targeted in a sudden firing attack.
Both workers died at the scene as a result of the gunfire. Their bodies were subsequently shifted to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital in Turbat for medico-legal formalities.
Security forces reached the area shortly after the incident and cordoned it off. An investigation has been launched, while efforts are underway to trace and apprehend those responsible for the attack.
