During the three days of Eid-ul-Adha, 8 people died and 30 were injured in various accidents and emergencies in Lower Dir district.
According to Rescue 1122 Lower Dir, a total of 66 different types of emergencies were rescued during Eid. According to the report, 11 traffic accidents, 25 medical emergencies, 4 fire incidents and 3 drowning accidents occurred in the Panjkora River.
Rescue personnel recovered the bodies of two people from the Panjkora River, while the search for one person is still ongoing. Rescue 1122 also completed 8 recovery operations, including transferring 15 patients to hospitals from different areas.
According to the spokesperson of Rescue 1122, emergency services were kept on high alert during Eid, while the personnel saved many precious lives through timely operations
