Gilgit: The Election Commission has issued a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the leadership of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), including Bilawal and Aseefa Bhutto, to conduct an election tour in Gilgit-Baltistan.

According to the notification, Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Asifa Bhutto have been granted permission to participate in election activities from June 1 to June 5, 2026. The notification, approved by the Chief Election Commissioner, allows PPP leadership to engage in election campaigns and other political activities.

The Election Commission has said that any violations of the Code of Conduct for the General Elections 2026 will result in action against the candidates.

Meanwhile, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has arrived in Skardu for the election campaign, where he received a warm welcome from the Governor of Punjab, the Governor of Gilgit-Baltistan, and other party leaders. Bilawal will address an election rally in Gulabpur Tehsil today, and during his visit, he is also scheduled to speak at rallies in Chilas, Ghizer, and Gilgit.
