ISLAMABAD: The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has started accepting applications online for MCQ-based Preliminary Test (MPT) for the CSS Competitive Examination 2027.
According to FPSC, applications for this purpose will remain open till August 3 to August 20, 2026. The preliminary examination will be conducted on September 27, 2026, in 19 cities.
Passage of MPT is a prerequisite for those candidates who want to qualify for the CSS Competitive Examination 2027. FPSC has advised applicants to provide correct details as incomplete information could lead to the rejection of their application.
It is important for candidates to choose their examination centre while applying. FPSC has made it clear that change of test centre cannot be considered once application is submitted.
Applicants need to visit FPSC’s official website and get registered there to fill CSS MPT 2027 application form.
Application fee for MPT 2027 is Rs250. Candidates have to generate a 16-digit PSID and pay the fee through 1-Link using available banking channels, which include ATM, mobile banking, internet banking, Easypaisa, JazzCash or participating banks.
After payment confirmation, candidates must log back into their accounts and complete the remaining application steps. FPSC has emphasized that payment of the fee alone does not constitute a completed application.
HEC Announces HAT-MS 2026 Results, Check Your Score Online
Meanwhile, the Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced the results of the Higher Education Aptitude Test for MS programmes (HAT-MS) 2026.
The test was conducted on July 4 and 5, 2026, across five categories. HEC has made the results available online through the Education Testing Council (ETC) portal.
Students appearing in the test can get access to their results from the HEC ETC portal account. Students are advised to save or download a soft copy of their result cards for admission and scholarship applications.
Students can view or download their HAT-MS 2026 results by logging into their HEC ETC portal accounts. For this purpose, students can visit the HEC ETC portal and sign in with the login details registered during registration. Then, they can open the result section, click on the HAT-MS test and see or download their result cards.
