Crude oil prices cross $105 per barrel in global market

Global crude oil prices continued to rise amid ongoing tensions in the Middle East, with Brent crude climbing above $105 per barrel.

Brent crude gained $4.19 to reach $105.40 per barrel in the global market.

Meanwhile, the price of US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude rose by $4.53 to $100.58 per barrel.

Analysts said continuing tensions in the Middle East, along with fears of further deterioration in the situation, were increasing concerns over global oil supplies. As a result, crude oil prices remain under upward pressure.
