A heated exchange has taken place between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi and former Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur in the WhatsApp group of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) parliamentary party.

According to senior journalist Irfan Khan, the conversation escalated as the two leaders criticised each other and responded to various allegations. Sources indicate that Ali Amin Gandapur challenged some of Chief Minister Sohail Afridi’s claims, stating, “Why don’t you name him? If someone is conspiring against Imran Khan, then that person’s name should be clearly mentioned.”

He further remarked that it is inappropriate to issue accusations of treason among party leaders when the Chief Minister does not even control his own province. Gandapur affirmed his loyalty to the founding chairman, Imran Khan, saying that he had stood by him before and would continue to do so in the future.

Following this exchange in the WhatsApp group, the internal differences within the party have again become a topic of discussion.
