KAGHAN: A cloudburst in Kaghan Valley triggered flash floods in the Seri stream, prompting authorities to issue alerts and launch emergency response efforts in the affected area.

According to local officials, three wooden bridges were swept away by the powerful floodwaters after the stream overflowed following intense rainfall.

The flooding also resulted in the loss of livestock, with several animals reportedly carried away by the fast-moving water.

District authorities issued an emergency alert to all relevant departments as rescue and relief operations continued. Personnel from the district administration and local police were deployed to assist residents and assess the damage.

The floodwaters also disrupted traffic flow on the main Neelum Highway, causing difficulties for commuters and travelers in the region.
