CHARSADDA: The district administration has imposed a one-month ban on the use of chemical and metallic kite strings in Charsadda under Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Deputy Commissioner Fazal Rahim Marwat issued a notification stating that the ban will remain in effect from September 7 to October 7.

According to the district administration, chemical kite strings pose a serious threat to human lives and can cause severe accidents and fatalities.

The administration urged parents to prevent children and young people from using such dangerous strings and called on the public to cooperate with authorities.

Deputy Commissioner Marwat warned that legal action would be taken against those found violating the ban, stressing that protecting public lives is a shared responsibility.
