ISLAMABAD: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released its latest Test and ODI player rankings, with Pakistan captain Babar Azam making a strong return to the Test batting top 10.

Babar climbed five places in the latest Test batting rankings to reclaim a spot among the world’s top 10 Test batters.

Another Pakistani batter named Abdullah Shafique also made an impressive move as he rose 25 positions to be at 32nd in the Test batting rankings.

Other Pakistanis in the list of batters include Salman Ali Agha who is at the 38th position, whereas Shan Masood has been positioned at 39th.

Spin-bowler Noman Ali of Pakistan has managed to retain his eighth position in the ICC Test bowling rankings.

In the ODI rankings, Shubman Gill from India is still on top, whereas Babar Azam still stands at the sixth position in the batting rankings.

Shaheen Shah Afridi of Pakistan has earned himself an eighth position in the ODI bowling rankings.
