PESHAWAR: The Peshawar District administration has announced a total ban on the buying and selling of air horns, toy pistols and firecrackers before August 14 for the purpose of maintaining public safety and law and order.
In a notification issued by the District administration, it has been notified that the ban has been imposed under Section 144 and will continue up to August 15.
The notification further says that there will be no aerial firing, use of fireworks, selling of air horns and firecrackers as well as one-wheeling in the district.
It has been clearly mentioned in the notification that legal action will be taken against those who violate the ban imposed by the District administration.
Citizens have been especially advised to refrain from one wheeling and other stunts as they may cause injuries and loss of lives.
