CALIFORNIA: New leaked images purportedly showing Apple’s upcoming iPhone 18 Pro Max have surfaced online, offering a glimpse of the device’s possible design and color options months ahead of its expected launch.
The pictures, published via a social media post on the platform X, feature the top-of-the-line phone in a variety of colors and angles. Based on the renders, it seems likely that the iPhone 18 Pro Max will adopt a design style very much like its predecessor but with slight modifications to its look.
As per various reports, Apple plans to release the iPhone 18 Pro series in four colors, including light blue, dark gray, silver, and dark cherry. In particular, the dark cherry color scheme will reportedly replace the popular orange version seen in its predecessors.
In addition, industry sources say that Apple is set to change its long-standing iPhone release approach. As such, the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max versions will reportedly be released in September 2026 along with the company’s first foldable iPhone. On the other hand, the regular iPhone 18 and iPhone Air will become available to consumers during early 2027.
As per the latest news reports, Apple is likely to launch the iPhone 18 Pro series in four colors – light blue, dark grey, silver, and dark cherry. Dark cherry color is said to be replacing the orange color that became popular with the previous generation.
Furthermore, the reports also reveal that Apple might change its usual strategy for releasing the iPhones. iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max would be launched by September 2026 along with the foldable version of the iPhone, and iPhone 18 and iPhone Air will be launched in early 2027.
In terms of the hardware specification, the latest iPhone 18 Pro would come equipped with Apple’s latest chip A20 Pro Bionic and the C2 modem.
A number of leaks have also pointed to the company’s effort to make the Dynamic Island notch smaller, enabling users to have a more immersive viewing experience.
There has been no official response from Apple regarding the aforementioned leaks or the specifications. Like any other pre-launch leaks, however, the actual product could turn out differently from what is currently being speculated.
