CHARSADDA (Alif Khan Sherpaw): Awami National Party (ANP) Malaysia Overseas President Abdul Rehman was shot dead by unknown assailants in his room in the Alif Khanabad area of Charsadda.

According to sources, Abdul Rehman was sitting in his room when an unidentified person suddenly opened fire, killing him on the spot.

Following the incident, Awami National Party Talai President Shakeel Bashir Khan Omarzai, General Secretary Shahzaduddin, Tehsil Charsadda President Gohar Ayub Khan, and Rahim Khan arrived at the scene and strongly condemned this tragic event. They demanded that the police apprehend the culprits as soon as possible and bring them to justice.

The son of the deceased stated that their family had no enemies. He mentioned that Abdul Rehman had returned from Malaysia a week ago and had been working abroad for twenty-one years. He recounted, “We were sitting at home when suddenly we heard gunshots. When we reached the room, my father was lying in a pool of blood.”

The family has called for a transparent investigation into the incident and urged the police to quickly arrest the true perpetrators.
