North Waziristan: In view of Pak-Afghan tension on border, the district administration has issued an order to immediately close all government and private educational institutions located in the border areas of North Waziristan.

According to the notification of the district administration, this decision has been taken in view of possible cross-border infiltration and security concerns. The administration maintains that safety is the top priority and this step has been taken to protect the lives of students, teachers and other school staff. Educational activities have been suspended in the villages on the border strip to avoid any untoward incident.

The notification issued by the district administration has clarified that all the schools included in the list will remain closed until further notice. Parents have been directed to avoid taking children to the border areas. The public has been advised to strictly follow the instructions of the local administration and security forces.

In case of any suspicious activity, immediately inform the relevant authorities. In the current situation, the security alert is high, so the closure of educational institutions is a necessary precautionary measure to eliminate the risk of any loss of life. There is concern among the residents of the border areas after this decision, however, it is being called a timely step for public safety.
