The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly session has been convened today, Monday, October 20, 2025, at 2:00 pm, the session was originally scheduled to be convened on October 27, however, the date was changed after a meeting between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi and Provincial Assembly Speaker Babar Saleem Swati.

According to assembly sources, this decision was taken after an important consultative meeting, which was held at the Speaker House Peshawar. The meeting discussed in detail the overall political situation of the province, parliamentary affairs and issues related to future legislation. Chief Minister Sohail Afridi proposed to convene the assembly session today (Monday) and in this connection he agreed the Speaker after important meeting. This proposal is not only being considered as part of the provincial government’s future action plan but is also being termed as the beginning of an important strategy in political atmosphere.

According to political observers, this meeting to be held today could prove to be a turning point in the province’s future parliamentary strategy. The eyes of various political parties, members of the assembly and the public are now focused on the decisions and progress to be made in this meeting.
