QUETTA: Thirteen people were killed, and twenty others were injured in two separate traffic accidents in the Mach and Naseerabad areas of Balochistan.

The first incident occurred in Mach, when a passenger wagon and a truck collided. After the collision, the wagon went out of control and fell into a ravine. Nine people traveling in the wagon died on the spot and nineteen were injured.

Rescue teams reached the scene and shifted the injured to nearby hospitals. In the second accident in Naseerabad, a car and a truck collided on the Dhadar National Highway.

Four people, including three women, were killed and one person was injured in this accident. In total, thirteen people lost their lives in both accidents while twenty were injured.

Police said that reckless driving, overspeeding, and poor road conditions are common causes of accidents in Balochistan. Due to single-lane roads and passenger vehicles often being overloaded, accidents happen frequently.
