Actress Meera deported from Canadian border

Pakistani actress Meera has reportedly been deported from the Canadian border while travelling from the United States to Canada for a performance.

According to reports, the actress was stopped at the Niagara Falls Canada border for several hours before a deportation order was issued against her.

Following the incident, Meera left the Canadian border and headed back to New York.

Speaking about the incident, the actress said she was deported because of unpaid taxes related to her performance in Canada.

She said that performers are responsible for paying taxes on their performances, regardless of whether the event organisers fulfil their tax obligations.

Meera added that she would share further details about the incident soon.
