ISLAMABAD: The federal government has issued notifications regarding the transfers, postings and retirement of officers across various ministries and administrative departments.
The notifications were issued by the Establishment Division, outlining several administrative changes involving federal government officials as well as personnel from the provincial governments of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the notifications, the government has approved the retirement of Azmat Hussain Khan, Senior Joint Secretary in the Water Resources Division, effective March 9, 2027.
In other administrative changes, Abdul Jabbar, Joint Secretary in the Finance Division, has been transferred and directed to report to the Establishment Division.
Sania Akram, a Section Officer in the Establishment Division, has been transferred to the Climate Change Division.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Owais Hashmi, an Officer on Special Duty (OSD), has been posted as a Section Officer in the Establishment Division.

The government has also approved several transfers and postings in the education and health sectors.
According to the notifications, Assistant Professor Tahseen Zahra, serving under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, has been transferred to the Federal Directorate of Education in Islamabad.
In the health sector, the services of Pharmacist Asma Maqsood have been transferred from the Punjab government to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in Islamabad.
Similarly, the services of Medical Officer Dr Tauseef Ahmed, who was serving under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, have been transferred to the Polyclinic Hospital in Islamabad.
The latest notifications cover administrative changes across federal departments and the placement of provincial government personnel in federal educational and healthcare institutions.
