PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Higher Education, Archives and Libraries Department has promoted 16 female Associate Professors from BS-19 to Professor (BS-20) on a regular basis.
According to an official notification issued on October 5, 2026, the promotions were approved on the recommendations of the Provincial Selection Board (PSB) following its meeting held on August 27, 2026.
The promoted officers are Sadia Mahjabeen, Shagufta Begum, Faiza Bibi, Tahira Gul, Naghma Saboohi, Dr. Musarrat, Afshin Hamid, Shahnaz Musarrat, Nargis Sani, Humaira Shuja, Nasira Anwar, Fatima Jaffari, Shahida Parveen, Shahida Parveen, Shaheen Akhtar and Saeeda Begum.

The notification stated that the promotions would take effect immediately.
Following their promotion, the officers will remain on probation for one year in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Civil Servants Act, 1973, and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Civil Servants (Appointment, Promotion and Transfer) Rules, 1989.
