PESHAWAR: Social media has been flooded with AI-generated videos linked to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in recent days.
According to details, dozens of AI-generated videos of former Prime Minister Imran Khan have gone viral on X, Facebook and TikTok ahead of PTI’s announced protest march.
Experts have warned that the use of generative AI is increasing misinformation during political tensions and have urged users to verify claims through credible sources before sharing.
The official media cell of the Asghari government’s continuous enthusiastic promotion of fake videos and fabricated narratives is, in fact, clear evidence of their extreme incompetence, stubbornness, panic, and technical recklessness.
To the concerned authorities: Your official statements, governments formed on Form 47, and all the dramas broadcast on media may be 100% fake, but the expression of public sentiments against you is entirely genuine and real.
When the public throws these baseless and fabricated claims back in your face, this is the exact kind of disarray that ensues. The institutions should still demonstrate wisdom; they should reflect on the stance of the man of faith that sowing the seeds of hatred will only yield destruction.
The demand of the times is to acknowledge ground realities, reform your conduct, and seek forgiveness from the nation and their leader.
