The Pakistan Army has responded effectively to the recent border aggression by the Afghan Taliban and the Fitna-ul-Kharij, hitting key military targets in Kandahar, Kurram, Spin Boldak and Chaman.
According to security sources, several hideouts, including Taliban Battalion Headquarters No. 4, 8 Battalion and Border Brigade No. 5, were destroyed in Kandahar, killing dozens of Afghan and foreign militants.
On the other hand, 8 posts and 6 tanks were destroyed in the Kurram sector, while about 15 to 20 terrorists were killed in Chaman and Spin Boldak areas.
According to sources, the Afghan Taliban used villages and innocent civilians as their human shields during the operation and damaged the Pak-Afghan Friendship Gate; however, the timely and effective action of the Pakistan Army forced the enemy to retreat.

According to security sources, the Afghan Taliban are resorting to false propaganda after the loss. The spokesman tried unsuccessfully to give the wrong impression through a video on social media that a Russian-made T-55 tank had been snatched from the Pakistani army, although this tank was already in use by the Afghan Taliban.
According to sources, the Pakistan Army has effectively repelled the Afghan Taliban attack, while the Taliban are in a defensive position despite false claims and propaganda.
It should be noted that 4 civilians, including 2 children, were injured in unprovoked firing by Afghan forces in Chaman, after which all educational institutions in the area were closed and the polio campaign was temporarily suspended.
