OTTAWA: Air Canada has extended the suspension of its Dubai flights, with services to and from Dubai International Airport now paused until the end of March 2027.
The airline had planned to resume its Dubai route in January but has delayed the restart. Air Canada has cited the changing operating environment, while Dubai Airports CEO Paul Griffiths has said some foreign airlines are facing difficulties obtaining insurance for their operations.
For affected passengers, Air Canada is offering flexible options, including rebooking without additional fees, changing the destination or cancelling for travel credit.
Meanwhile, Emirates and flydubai continue to operate from Dubai, while several other international airlines have also adjusted their Dubai schedules.
