PESHAWAR: Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Inayatullah Khan has said that his party will strongly oppose and condemn the imposition of Governor’s Rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Talking to media in Buner, he said that the PTI provincial government has failed on all fronts and is corrupt and not capable of governing. There is no discipline in the PTI government and it is trying to become a political martyr.
Inayatullah Khan further said that abolition of petroleum levy is the central demand of Jamaat-e-Islami’s movement.
He demanded Immediate relief should be given to the public in electricity bills.
The benefit of savings resulting from agreements with IPPs should be passed on to the public.
An additional burden is being placed on the public in the form of petroleum levy.
Action should be taken against the sugar mafia and the artificial crisis should be ended.
Inflation should be reduced and the price of bread should be brought down to Rs. 10.
Inayatullah Khan said that due to the assurance of the Prime Minister, the Islamabad Super Long March has been rescheduled. Jamaat-e-Islami’s mobilization campaign is continuing across the country.
He announced that JI Ameer Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman will address a public gathering in Buner on October 2. “Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman is the spokesperson of 250 million people and is fighting their case,” he said.
He held PTI, PPP and Amir Muqam responsible for the imposition of taxes in Malakand Division.
