ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Religious Affairs has said that 50,000 seats are still available under the private Hajj scheme for 2027, as bookings gain momentum following a recent notice issued by the ministry’s monitoring section.
According to ARY News, the number of applications received through the Pak Hajj app has reached 21,547.
The ministry has advised private Hajj pilgrims to complete their payments through the Pak Hajj app and warned applicants against making direct payments to individuals or companies.
According to ministry officials, around Rs18 billion has so far been transferred to the accounts of authorised Hajj companies through the Hajj portal. Of the total amount, 45% was deposited through digital payment channels, while the remaining 55% was paid through manual bank challans.

The ministry said the deadline for registration under the private Hajj scheme through the Hajj portal is November 20.
More than 2,000 Hajj packages offered by 25 authorised companies are currently available through the portal, according to the ministry.
The ministry spokesperson also advised private pilgrims to report any complaints through the inquiry option available on the Hajj portal.
