ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has introduced further convenience for the poor and middle-income segments under the Petroleum Subsidy Scheme, directing that the registration message for the program be made completely free of cost. 

According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, the relief initiative provides fuel subsidies to owners of motorcycles, rickshaws, and vehicles with engine capacities of up to 800cc.

The relief package is currently being rolled out nationwide, extending benefits to citizens across the country, including Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Bahawalpur/Gilgit-Baltistan.

How to Register:

Eligible citizens can register for the scheme by sending a free SMS to 9771. The text message must follow the prescribed format:

Leave a space

Enter your CNIC number

Enter the vehicle number plate

Enter the first letter of the province where the vehicle is registered

Enter the vehicle’s registration date
