ISLAMABAD: To improve preparedness for emergencies and raise awareness about fire safety, a fire safety and building evacuation drill was conducted at State Life Tower Islamabad.

The mock drill held under the supervision of Deputy Manager and In-charge State Life Tower, Anil Zeb Mehsud.  Representatives and staff members from Huawei International, Special Technology Zones Authority (STZA), Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), GMS, IEngineering and other international companies attended the drill.

The participants actively took part in the exercise and appreciated the drill, which provided them with practical guidance on how to respond during a fire or other emergency situation. The exercise was organised in line with the vision and directions of CEO State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan Shoaib Hussain Javed, along with the Executive Director RE, Chief Engineer and DH RE.

Similar fire safety drills are also being conducted at State Life buildings across the country to improve emergency preparedness and ensure the safety of occupants. The drill and building evacuation exercise at State Life Tower Islamabad also included a training session delivered by the CDA Fire Department and Civil Defence master trainers.

The trainers briefed participants on fire safety measures, emergency response and safe evacuation procedures. The participants appreciated the training session and stressed the need for such awareness activities to continue regularly so that people can respond effectively and safely in emergency situations.
