PESHAWAR: The police took immediate notice of the sexual assault of women in Garhi Mosam Khan, within the limits of Rehman Baba police station, and formed special teams, as a result of which four alleged accused involved in the incident have been arrested.
The arrested accused forcibly raped two wives of a citizen. Upon receiving the information about the incident, the police immediately initiated legal action, registered a case, and took special steps to arrest the accused. The incident report was filed at Rehman Baba police station at around 4 am on Sunday on the complaint of the plaintiff, after which special investigation teams were immediately formed to arrest the accused on the instructions of senior police officers.
The raiding special investigation teams led by SP Saddar Division under the direct supervision of SSP Operations Peshawar and SSP Investigation Peshawar proceeded with the investigation of the case on modern scientific and technical grounds. Special teams comprising DSP Rehman Baba, SHO Police Station Rehman Baba, and investigation officers conducted investigations from various angles and examined the available evidence in detail and, after identifying the accused, took effective action to arrest them within a few hours.
During the police operation, all four accused involved in the incident were arrested. The weapon allegedly used in the incident was also recovered from the possession of the arrested accused. The special investigation team also conducted a detailed inspection of the crime scene and collected important evidence from there, which has been preserved for further legal and scientific analysis. The investigation team is examining the case from various angles so that all the facts of the incident can be revealed.
A comprehensive and transparent investigation of the incident is underway, and further legal action is being taken in light of the evidence obtained from the crime scene, interrogation of the arrested accused, and other available information. Action is being taken against the arrested accused as per the law, and all legal requirements will be completed to ensure their proper punishment. There will be no room for any negligence or negligence in the case.
The police authorities have reiterated their resolve that the safety of women and other citizens will be ensured at all costs, and strict and indiscriminate legal action will be taken against the elements involved in such serious crimes.
