PESHAWAR: Authorities have removed roadside encroachments from Bachakhan Chowk, one of the busiest intersections in the city, following repeated complaints from citizens.
A crackdown was carried out against businesses operating on the road and individuals who had established illegal structures and other encroachments at the busy intersection. All identified encroachments were removed during the operation.
The encroachments had been obstructing the smooth flow of traffic, frequently causing traffic congestion at the intersection and creating difficulties for commuters and residents.
The removal of the encroachments is expected to help improve traffic flow and ease congestion in the area.
