ISLAMABAD: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi has departed from KP House Islamabad for Rahim Yar Khan, where he will take part in a public contact campaign and street movement for the release of PTI Chairman Imran Khan, supremacy of the constitution and law, and the struggle for “real freedom.
“Provincial President Junaid Akbar, Provincial Ministers Meena Khan Afridi, Shafiq Jan and other party leaders are accompanying the Chief Minister. According to party officials, a massive public outreach campaign in Sindh is also being launched as part of preparations for the long march scheduled for September 27.
Critics view this visit of the Chief Minister as a major threat to peace and stability of the country, as, according to them country fragile economy could not afford strikes and protests.
