PESHAWAR: Citizens in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa can now search and download copies of their property registry deeds from home through the Registration of Deeds ROD Portal, officials announced on September 3, 2026.

The portal has been introduced to reduce visits to district offices and provide easy access to land records. To search for a registry, users first need to select their relevant district and tehsil. After that, records can be searched using any one of the following details: CNIC number of the buyer, seller or witness, name of the buyer, seller or witness, or the registry number.

Once the required information is entered, users can click the search button to view results. The portal contains scanned datasets of district registry records. If a citizen’s registry is not available online, they can contact the relevant authorities directly through the portal.

For registration, users must visit the login page of the ROD Portal. New users can click the register button and enter a valid email ID. A verification email will be sent to activate the account. After clicking the verification link, users can log in to search for registries and view details.

During the process of downloading or printing a registry, the portal provides a challan number and PSID. Payment can be made through mobile apps such as JazzCash and Easypaisa using the PSID.

After payment is completed, the registry copy can be downloaded. The portal administration has advised citizens to provide accurate information. It warned that accounts with wrong or fake details may be blocked, and all payments will be processed according to the details provided.
