PESHAWAR: A total of 57 police personnel belonging to security division, CCPO Peshawar, SSU, elite force, FRP, CTD have been transferred and posted in a major reshuffle in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Saturday.

All transfers and postings will be effective immediately, according to a formal order issued by the office of the Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The list of transfers also includes 19 policemen from Lakki Marwat and 8 from Bannu. The personnel have been deployed in various districts of the province.

As per order, personnel from the Security Division Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were sent to CCP Peshawar and other districts, while a number of personnel from CCP Peshawar, District Police, SSU, FRP, Elite Force and Special Branch have also been transferred.

These transfers, personnel have been carried out in various districts including Upper Chitral, Swat, Mardan, Kohat, Abbottabad, Nowshera, Bannu, Tonk, Buner, Torghar, Mansehra, Swabi, Shangla, Lower Chitral, Lower Dir, Haripur, Lower Kohistan, Charsadda, Bajaur and Battagram.

The order also mentions the posting of some personnel on an alternate basis, while one official has been posted to CCP Peshawar on medical grounds. Similarly, an official from the Police School of Explosives Handling Nowshera has also been transferred to CTD Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
