ISLAMABAD: Misbah Arshad has been crowned Miss Universe Pakistan 2026 and will represent Pakistan at the Miss Universe 2026 international pageant to be held in Puerto Rico in November.
The crowning ceremony has been recorded and taken place at Rosal Park Hotel in Manila, Philippines with the ceremony being uploaded on YouTube in two segments on August 18 and 19.
Arshad has been crowned after she won the national pageant after beating nine other contestants in the final round. She will now go on to represent Pakistan at the international Miss Universe 2026 pageant set to take place in San Juan, Puerto Rico on November 24.
The contest will be significant this year as it will mark the 60th anniversary of Miss Universe and hence contestants from all over the world will take part.
After getting crowned, Arshad is now gearing up for the international contest. It is believed that her participation in the international contest will provide an opportunity for her to show Pakistani culture and identity.
Born in 2000, Arshad has previously represented Pakistan at various international beauty contests. She has been crowned Miss Pakistan World 2023 on May 31, 2023. In addition, she has also won the title of Miss Aura Pakistan 2023.
In March 2023, she represented Pakistan at the Miss Aura International 2023 in Kemer, Antalya, Turkey where she was among 42 contestants but failed to make any final position.
In October 2023, Arshad represented Pakistan at the Miss International 2023 in Tokyo, Japan where she was among 69 contestants. She held the title of Miss International Pakistan 2023 but could not make any final position.
According to the coverage of international pageants, she has lived in Islamabad and Munich and is currently pursuing a degree in psychology at the University of Hagen, Germany.
Arshad is set to compete against contestants from around 130 countries at the Miss Universe 2026 final that will be held in San Juan on November 24.
