Gold prices in Pakistan saw another decline, with per tola gold becoming Rs 500 cheaper.
According to the Sarafa Market, the price of per tola gold has dropped to Rs 459,936 after the latest decrease.
The price of 10 grams of gold also fell by Rs 429. It is now being sold at Rs 394,320 per 10 grams.
Market dealers said only minor fluctuations are being observed in local bullion markets following the recent dip.
Experts note that international gold rates, the value of the rupee against the US dollar, and the global economic situation remain key factors in determining local gold prices.
Consumers and investors are closely watching for further changes, with analysts saying prices could see more decline or a rise in the next session depending on global market trends.
Amid rising Iran-US tensions, global oil prices have also increased further. This has raised concerns of a possible hike in petrol and diesel prices in Pakistan in the coming days.
