PESHAWAR: Educational boards across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) have begun announcing schedules for the 2026 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) 2nd Annual Examinations for Class 9 and Class 10 students.

According to official notifications issued by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Malakand and BISE Kohat, the examinations are scheduled to begin on October 7, 2026.

These 2nd Annual Exams give a chance to those students who could not pass in one or more subjects in the 1st Annual Exams. The applicants can also opt for reappearance, improvement of marks, extra subjects, and qualifying subjects on the conditions laid down by the concerned boards.

September 2, 2026 is set as the deadline for the submission of examination forms with the regular fee in both BISE Malakand and BISE Kohat.

However, the last dates to pay the late fees in both the boards differ.

As per the schedule of BISE Malakand, the candidates can submit forms with late fee until September 7, with double fee until September 15, and with triple fee until September 21, 2026.

BISE Kohat has fixed September 10 for the applications received with double fees, while the last date for applications received with triple fees is September 18, 2026.

It is mandatory for regular students to submit their application forms via their respective educational institutions, whereas private candidates are allowed to apply via the online admission portal of their respective BISEs.

Students have been asked to visit the official website of their respective BISE for updated information regarding exam fees, roll number slips, and date sheet.

According to the schedule so far announced, the KP SSC 2nd Annual Examination 2026 would start on October 7.
