UPPER DIR: Residents of Upper Dir’s Nihag Dara area reportedly rallied behind police and security forces following an attack on the Bando Police Checkpost, according to local sources.
Shortly after the attack, announcements were made from local mosques urging residents to come out and assist police and security personnel.
A large number of local residents reportedly responded to the calls and joined the security response, standing alongside law enforcement agencies during the confrontation with the attackers.
