The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has warned citizens against fake tracking IDs and misleading information circulating on social media platforms, urging users to protect their personal and identity-related information.
According to a NADRA spokesperson, tracking IDs will not be provided through comments on social media platforms. Citizens have been advised not to share their tracking IDs in the comments sections of NADRA’s social media accounts, as doing so could compromise their personal information.
NADRA urged citizens to rely only on its official sources and verified platforms for information or assistance related to registration and identity services.
For information regarding tracking ID cases, citizens can send an SMS to 8400, contact the NADRA helpline at 051-111-786-100, or dial 1777 from a mobile phone. The public can also use the PakID mobile application for related services.
NADRA further advised citizens to avoid trusting unverified links, accounts and messages circulating on social media and to take necessary precautions to safeguard their identity and personal data.
