BANNU: Javeria, a student of Government Girls High School Kotka Juma Khan, has secured the third position in the annual Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations conducted by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Bannu, bringing pride to her family, school and district.
Her achievement has drawn widespread admiration as it comes despite severe financial hardships. Javeria’s mother works as a school attendant and continued to support her daughter’s education through difficult economic circumstances, making personal sacrifices to ensure she could pursue her studies.
Speaking after the announcement of the results, Javeria dedicated her success to her parents, especially her mother, saying their unwavering encouragement and sacrifices, along with her teachers’ guidance and her own hard work, made the achievement possible.
Her teachers praised her exceptional dedication, academic excellence and discipline, describing her as an inspiration for other students. They said her success demonstrates that determination and perseverance can overcome financial challenges.
Residents, educationists and social figures congratulated Javeria and her family, calling her accomplishment a matter of pride for the entire Bannu district.
They also urged the government and philanthropists to provide scholarships and financial assistance to talented students from underprivileged backgrounds so they can continue their education and contribute to society.
