WASHUK: Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Washuk district of Balochistan, targeting a hideout allegedly used by banned militant group Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) under the ongoing Operation Rad-ul-Fitna 3.
According to security sources, an intense exchange of fire took place during the operation, resulting in the killing of seven alleged militants, including a key commander of the group. The hideout was destroyed during the operation.
Security sources said a cache of arms and ammunition was also recovered from the site. The operation was carried out as part of Operation Rad-ul-Fitnah 3, aimed at eliminating militant networks and preventing future attacks.
A clearance operation Rad-ul-Fitnah 3 was launched in the surrounding area to ensure no militants remained in the vicinity, while further investigations are underway.
