PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Police has announced a fresh reshuffle of senior police officers, ordering key transfers and postings across the province with immediate effect.
According to a notification issued by the Office of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the transfers have been made in the public interest under Section 17(4) of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Act, 2017.
Under the new postings, Shahbaz Ellahi (PSP, BS-19) has been transferred from the post of Assistant Inspector General (AIG) Establishment to serve as the District Police Officer (DPO) Lakki Marwat.
Faryal Fareed (PSP, BS-18) has been appointed as AIG Establishment, replacing Shahbaz Ellahi. She will also continue to hold the additional charge of AIG Human Rights and Gender Equality until further orders.
Mukhtiar Ahmad (PSP, BS-18) has been transferred from Deputy Commandant, Frontier Reserve Police (FRP) to SP Admin, Special Security Unit (SSU-CPEC).
Meanwhile, Nazir Khan (PSP, BS-18) has been moved from DPO Lakki Marwat to Deputy Commandant, FRP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In another posting, Akbar Muhammad (DSP, BS-17) has been assigned as SP Traffic Warden Kohat in his own pay and scale after serving as Commandant SCU, EPTC Nowshera.
