PESHAWAR: As many as six labourers were injured after a wall of an under-construction building collapsed in the suburb of the provincial metropolis on Sunday morning.

All the injured were working in the under-construction building at Shah Alam Shakarpura, when suddenly a wall collapsed. According to Rescue 1122, emergency teams, including ambulances and medical personnel, rushed to the scene immediately after receiving a call from the area.

Rescue 1122 acted in time and pulled all six injured labourers from the debris and provided them with first aid at the site. The injured were later shifted to Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) for further treatment.

Rescue 1122 officials said the prompt response of emergency teams ensured the safe rescue of the victims and their timely transfer to the hospital. The cause of the wall collapse was not immediately known.
