PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet expanded again on Tuesday with the induction of 23 more parliamentary secretaries, raising its strength to 53 members, said a notification issued here.
The 23 new appointed members as parliamentary secretaries by the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sohail Afridi included Ali Shah from PK-04 Swat, who has been given the responsibility of housing, Amir Farzand Khan from PK-56 Mardan to look after mineral development; Sultan Rum from PK-09 Swat would should the responsibility of Awqaf, Hajj and religious affairs.
Likewise, Murtaza Khan Tarakai from PK-53 Swabi agriculture and Fateh-ul-Mulk Ali Nasir from PK-02 Chitral Lower culture, tourism and archaeology, notification added. Similarly, Zar Alam Khan from PK-85 Nowshera has been appointed as Excise and Taxation, Muhammad Riaz from PK-33 Kolai Palace Kohistan as Sports and Youth Affairs, Abdul Kabir Khan from PK-27 Buner as Higher Education, Muhammad Naeem from PK-10 Swat as Revenue and Estate, while Muhammad Azam Khan from PK-14 Lower Dir has been appointed as Parliamentary Secretary for Zakat, Ushr and Social Welfare.
In addition, Asif Khan from PK-109 South Waziristan Upper has been appointed as parliamentary secretary finance, Zubair Khan from PK-34 Battagram for Irrigation, Shafiullah from PK-16 Lower Dir for Transport and Mass Transit, Sharafat Ali from PK-03 Swat for Communication and Works, and Muhammad Yameen from PK-12 Upper Dir for Public Health Engineering.
PK-89 Nowshera MPA has Ashfaq Ahmed as Local Government, PK-43 Abbottabad Rajab Ali Khan Abbasi Elementary and Secondary Education, PK-67 Mohmand Livestock, PK-77 Peshawar Sher Ali Afridi Climate Change and Forestry, and PK-17 Lower Dir Obaid-ur-Rehman appointed as Information and Public Relations parliamentary secretary.
In addition, Johar Muhammad PK-105 Lakki Marwat appointed as Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority, PK-54 Mardan Zarshad Khan as Industries and Commerce, and PK-99 Bannu Zahidullah Khan as Parliamentary Secretary for Home and Tribal Affairs.
