ISLAMABAD: Gold prices witnessed a significant decline across Pakistan, with the price of one tola of gold falling by Rs5,600 following a downward trend in international markets.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola came down to Rs424,136 after this latest decrease.

While gold per 10 grams also saw a fall of Rs4,801 to trade at Rs363,628, as stated by the association.

Gold rates have also been falling in the international markets, where one ounce of gold was being sold at around $4,017, seeing a fall of $56.

Fluctuations in gold rates in international markets have been seen to have a direct effect on the local markets as gold rates have seen a fall in Pakistan.

Moreover, experts say that the trends in the world economy along with the movements in currency and investor sentiments continue to be very important for determining gold rates in international and local markets.
