QUETTA: Inspector General of Balochistan Police Muhammad Tahir visited the frontlines of the Shaban operation and met with security personnel deployed in the area, praising their courage, commitment, and sacrifices in the fight against militancy.
During the visit, IG Balochistan and DIG Quetta Imran Shaukat interacted with frontline personnel, encouraged the troops, and expressed their appreciation for their dedication and bravery.
IG Muhammad Tahir said security operations against militants would continue until the elimination of the last remaining threat, stressing that maintaining peace in Balochistan remains the top priority.
“There will be no compromise on peace, and anti-state elements will be defeated at every cost,” the police chief said, according to a statement issued after the visit.
e paid tribute to police and security personnel who lost their lives in the line of duty, saying their sacrifices would not go in vain. He also praised the high morale and determination of the forces engaged in security operations.
The IG said security forces were continuing their advance and tightening the pressure on elements attempting to disrupt peace in the province.
He reiterated that no leniency would be shown toward those threatening Balochistan’s security and that the mission to restore lasting peace would continue with full determination.
