A firing incident took place between police and two motorcyclists in the Pwang Ghar area of Mohmand district, resulting in one person being killed and one injured.
According to the police, the officials signaled the two motorcyclists to stop during a routine check, but when they did not stop, the situation became tense, and an exchange of fire took place.
The police claim that SHO Munsif of Prang Ghar police station was also injured in the firing by the motorcyclists, who is being provided medical assistance. However, this claim has not yet been confirmed by independent sources.
As a result of the firing, one person riding the motorcycle died on the spot while the other was injured. Both were immediately shifted to Tangi Hospital, where the injured are being given medical assistance.
According to the authorities, the investigation into the incident is underway to reveal the motives and all the facts of the firing. The identities of the dead and injured have not yet been officially released, while there has been no official statement regarding any arrests or further action.
