On Sunday night, the Pakistan Army conducted Operation Ghazab Lil Haq based on gathered intelligence, targeting locations and successfully destroying militant hideouts in the provinces of Paktia, Paktika, and Kunar in Afghanistan.

During this operation, hideouts and safe havens linked to Jamaat-ul-Ahrar and the banned organization TTP were struck, destroying several terrorist elements along with their weapons and ammunition.

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting AttaUllah Tarar announced on X that, under Operation Ghazb Lil Haq, security forces successfully targeted the terrorist camps and safe havens of Jamaat-ul-Ahrar and Fitna al-Khwarij in Paktia, Paktika, and Kunar. This operation took place on the night of June 28/29, resulting in the elimination of terrorists and the destruction of stockpiles of weapons and ammunition.

According to security sources, the operation was executed with a high degree of precision and effectiveness, aiming to weaken the cross-border terrorist network and enhance the security situation in Pakistan.

The sources also reported that multiple significant targets were completely neutralized during the operation, severely damaging the terrorists’ communication and logistics network.

Security officials stated that similar operations will continue in the future based on intelligence, with the goal of eliminating the safe havens of terrorist elements across the border.
