PESHAWAR: Senior journalist Fayyaz Zafar, who hails from Swat, has made serious allegations against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Provincial Minister Dr. Amjad Ali, using strong language in a public statement.

In his remarks, Zafar referred to the provincial minister in highly critical terms, alleging wrongdoing. The statement quickly circulated on social media and sparked reactions from users and political observers.

In a video statement, Fayyaz Zafar said that Amjad Ali is basically not a doctor but a hakim and a grocer who are defaming the sacred profession of a doctor.

He claimed that the provincial minister used to ride a modest Vespa scooter in the past, but later he bought customs-stolen vehicles and today his children and assets are in the US.

Fayyaz Zafar alleged that the biggest thief in the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is Amjad Ali, whose job is that whenever someone exposes his corruption and theft, he starts filing legal notices and cases in the courts against him.

He revealed that the provincial minister himself, along with a media group, has sent a legal notice to him.

The senior journalist vowed to file a case in court against Amjad Ali to ask in what capacity he is writing doctor with his name.

He further said that the purpose of issuing notices to media groups and journalists is to suppress the truth, but these notices of his will fail in the courts because all such cases issued to cover up theft will be lost in a shameful manner.
