PESHAWAR: The Human Resource Management Department of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has issued a notification of large-scale appointments, transfers and adjustments after the promotions of professors and principals of Grade 20 and Grade 21 in the Commerce Wing of the Higher Education Department.
According to the notification, Senior Grade 21 Officer Khalid Khan has been transferred from the post of Professor/Principal in Government College of Commerce II Ring Road Peshawar and appointed as Principal of Government College of Management Sciences (GCMS) Abbottabad. Similarly, Grade 21 Officer Sahib-u-Din has been transferred from GCMS Chitral and appointed as Principal in GCMS Sangota Swat.
According to the notification, Grade 21 officer Dr. Amjad Rafique, who was already serving as Professor/Principal at GCMS Peshawar, has been regularly adjusted to the vacant post of Principal in the same institution.
Among the Grade 20 officers, Shamsul Haq, who was serving on OPS basis at GCMS Sangota Swat, has been posted to the vacant post of Professor at GCMS Haripur. Thus, Fida-ur-Rehman has been transferred from GCMS Sangota Swat to the vacant post of Professor at GCMS Chitral.
According to the notification, Grade 20 officer Wajihuddin has been posted as Professor/Principal at GCMS Chitral after his recent promotion where he will oversee the administrative and teaching affairs of the institution.
Big Changes in KP Bureaucracy as Top Officials Get New Assignments
Earlier, the Human Resource Management Department of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has issued several notifications for the appointments and transfers of officers posted in various departments in a large-scale reshuffle in the provincial bureaucracy.
According to the notifications issued, Tanveer Khan, a PMS Grade 18 officer awaiting posting in the Human Resource Management Department, has been posted as Additional Secretary in the Health Department. Similarly, another PMS Grade 18 officer awaiting posting, Muhammad Arif Khan-I, has been posted to the vacant post of Additional Secretary (Judicial) in the Human Resource Management Department.
Furthermore, orders have been issued to post Tariq Mehmood-II, a PMS Grade 18 officer who was awaiting posting, as Additional Secretary in the Finance Department. On the other hand, Muhammad Nadeem Akhtar, a PMS Grade 19 officer, who was serving as Additional Secretary (Judicial) in the Human Resource Management Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary in the Minerals Development Department.
In another important change in the provincial administrative structure, Additional Commissioner Kohat Division Kamran Khattak (PMS Grade 19) has been transferred and posted as Secretary-II in the Board of Revenue Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Similarly, District Monitoring Officer of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Monitoring Authority Abbas Ali Bukhari (PMS Grade 18) has been transferred to Kohat, where he will serve as Director in the Urban Area Development Authority.
New appointments have also been decided in the institution related to the monitoring of the education department. In this regard, the services of two PMS Grade 18 officers, Muhammad Shah Jamil and Ishtiaq Sultan, awaiting posting in the Human Resource Management Department, have been handed over to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Monitoring Authority so that they can be posted as District Monitoring Officers.
Meanwhile, there has also been a reshuffle in the Civil Secretariat. Assistant Grade 16 Syed Asif Nawaz has been transferred from the Human Resource Management Department to the Minerals Development Department. The proposed transfer of Assistant Grade 16 Najibullah of the Finance Department has been stopped and he has been retained in the Human Resource Management Department. While Junior Clerk Grade 11 Syed Ahmed Shah of the Minerals Development Department has been transferred and posted to the vacant post in the Finance Department.
According to a notification issued by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, all the appointments and transfers have been made keeping in mind the administrative requirements and public interest. Copies of these orders have been sent to the relevant departments, Accountant General Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Establishment and Administration Department and other relevant authorities for necessary action.
