COLOMBO: Pakistan Women’s cricket team won the toss and opted to bowl first against India in the sixth match of the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025, being played at the R. Premadasa Stadium today (on Sunday).

Ahead of the high-voltage clash, Pakistan made one change in their lineup — Sadaf Shamas replaced Omaima Sohail.

Captain Fatima Sana, expressing confidence before the match, said: “Playing in the qualifiers gave me good confidence. We’ll try to perform well — 250 will be a good total on this pitch that we can defend.”
